The inspiration to assist others whom are victims of infidelity or adultery came through my personal experiences. After twenty years of marriage I discovered my husband was having an affair. At first the thoughts of him cheating on me were so overpowering it was hard to accept reality. I was embarrassed and didn't know where to turn. I didn't want to tell my friends about his unfaithful behavior yet alone speak about it with anyone whom remotely knew us. However, I had the burning need to express myself and thus turned to the internet in search of a place where I might be able to anonymously share my experience and seek input from others whom have been victims of infidelity. In my search I found very limited resources dedicated towards helping those who have been cheated on. Thus the inspiration for Cheatedon.org was born.
I am an infidelity survivor and have overcome the negative emotions from my husbands affair and have successfully moved on into a supportive relationship. Please join in and anonymously share your story on our infidelity forum. I know it will help, you too will survive infidelity, moving beyond the negative emotions.
